This protest is getting recognition it is propitious for our movement.More over, some prominent people has started making fuss, statements.WIth the some local news papers i came to know some letters lamented. But again these fuss and statments are not sufficient.
One thing that i want to mention that there is fuss started to hand over this libray to some goverment body or organisations, or NGO, what ever it is.
Here comes most important issue: If it is hand over to them then these bodies could run library in same manner and facilitate members with same resources that we are having right now.
Second and most important is movement yet acquired as much pace that expected to be- Local media is covering that is appreciable, but not satisfactory.There is desperate need to reach the voice to main stream media.
We are going for signature- campaigning to students in schools and college.Can be include those people who are not member of library but concerned for that. There is strong need of hours to feel people how much this institution is necessary for them.
If we believe in signatures then why not to go to bureaucrats ask them to write about what they think about British library is getting out of our hands and sign over their testimony...
See we are having very limited time and in this time of urgency there is strong need to move strategically and process of protest shoud be inclusive not confined to certain people only.
@ Arjit: PLease, tell all members to come in the meeting.And, u also b there.If u can come to bcl on 14 at 1pm I can assign u some work.Suit urself.
@ Anonymous: Points well made. But,at this time I can just say ,' Rome was not build in a day'. We are trying to make things more organised.We need guidance and right suggestions. As of now, our campaining is going better and we hope some miracles on sat.Main stream media is called ,but as u know " BREAKING NEWS" trend...we need ppl together otherwise 100-200 people ca't make a news.You get the drift..?
